Submissions AFIG 2011 (call for paper)

Extension : The deadline for submissions is postponed until Sunday, September 11th MIDNIGHT.
Like every year, the best papers presented at the AFIG days may be published in the French Electronics Computer Graphics Revue (REFIG).
There will also the traditional "Best Paper" contest which will reward the three best articles with the following prizes offered by the French Chapter of Eurographics (http://liris.cnrs.fr/~egfr/index.html ):
- 1st prize: registration for an Eurographics 2012 event (Eurographics conference or symposium / workshop) + membership at Eurographics 2012
- 2nd prize: membership in Eurographics 2012
- 3rd prize: membership in Eurographics 2012
New this year: establishment of a unique evaluation process for submission, which will avoid for authors to reformat their submission for REFIG in case of acceptance. This process should also speed up the time of publication of the journal devoted to these days.
Technically, all submissions must go through the REFIG site at the following link : http://www.irit.fr/REFIG/index.php/refig/about/submissions
Submissions Procedures
To submit an article, you must register to REFIG.
Once connected, go to «Home user», click on «Author», then click on «click here to begin submission process». Then, in the "Topic of the magazine", you must select "AFIG-REFIG" or "Days AFIG."
Article proposition for REFIG is indeed subject to certain conditions, explained in the section «Instructions to authors» of the page whose like is given above.
For submissions not complying with these conditions, or if the authors do not want their article appears in REFIG, it is possible to limit the submission to the AFIG days. To do this, you must select «AFIG days» as «magazine section». If you want to compete for publication in REFIG, you must instead select "AFIG-REFIG".
Please note that the conditions to compete for the "Best Paper" are the same as for REFIG, and therefore that only articles submitted in section «AFIG-REFIG» will be eligible for the «Best Paper» contest.
The format of the articles must be respected for all your submissions. For this, you must use patterns available on the REFIG website.
Articles are limited to 10 pages, including a maximum of two pages with color illustrations.
The deadline for submission is Monday, September 5 at MIDNIGHT.
